Here are ten facts you may or may not have known about Swinton Lions forward Samy Kibula…

After last week’s In Depth With Richard Lepori, here are 10 facts about talented forward Samy Kibula. 

Kibula joined from 2018 Super League champions Wigan Warriors on a one-month deal, and has since played against both Toronto Wolfpack and most recently in the success over Toulouse Olympique at Stade Ernest Argelès.

Here are ten facts about the talented youngster you may or may not have known…

1. I was born in Kinshasa, the capital and the largest city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo;

2. I am 6’4;

3. I have played rugby union most of my career. I finished off playing for Leigh RUFC and Sale Sharks and I was playing both rugby league and rugby union from when I was 14;

4. I am 19, born August 7th;

5. My favourite singer is Chris Brown;

6. I have two little brothers;

7. I have won two Academy Grand Finals with Wigan Warriors;

8. My dream car – G wagon;

9. My favourite series definitely has to be ‘Power’;

10. I have played for both England Under 16s and England Youth twice.
