Swinton Lions have been draw away against York City Knights in the fourth-round of the Challenge Cup.

York City Knights last faced the Lions in the 2015 League 1 playoff semi-finals, where a late Chris Atkin golden point drop goal sent Swinton to the final, where they would earn promotion to the Championship with victory over Keighley Cougars.

Last year saw Swinton cause a huge upset in the cup, knocking out six-time winners Huddersfield Giants at John Smith’s Stadium.

The draw was made by former Challenge Cup winner Rob Parker and Warrington Wolves’ assistant coach Andrew Henderson.

The fourth-round of the Challenge Cup will take place on the weekend of 17-18 March. The Lions play York City on Sunday 18th March.
