The Lions claimed victories against both Toulouse Olympique and Rochdale Hornets in June which has seen the side climb to 10th in the Betfred Championship.

Swinton also faced Toronto Wolfpack, York City Knights and Dewsbury Rams in the 1895 Cup.

Here are the four nominations for June…

Rhodri Lloyd

The Swinton captain has had an impressive month, including three tries against Dewsbury, Toulouse and most recently in the local derby against Rochdale Hornets.

The Welsh wizard is enjoying life in the centres for the Lions, whilst also putting in the extra shift in attack for his side, making strong metres.

Leading from the front, Lloyd also made a slick offload to assist Mike Butt to secure the victory against the Hornets at Rochdale Mayfield.

Jack Hansen

The number one has recently made the switch back to halfback to partner teammate Rob Fairclough, which has seen the side score some thrilling tries and claim four league points in June.

Hansen was also recently handed the kicking duties by Stuart Littler, with over 70% success rate.

The youngster also recently crossed for a four-pointer against Rochdale, with a smooth show and go to cross for his side.

Mike Butt

The try scoring machine has now crossed for 16 tries so far this season, making him the joint-second top try scorer in the competition alongside teammate Matty Ashton and Anthony Thackeray.

The Wales international crossed the whitewash four times in June and again has showed his class in both attack and defence.

Samy Kibula

The Wigan forward has had a superb month for the Lions since joining on loan from the 2018 Super League champions.

Kibula has shown his strength each week under Littler and has carried the ball with power against every opposition.

The youngster was also awarded the fan’s vote for Man of the Match against York City Knights at Heywood Road in June.
