KIT SPONSORS ANNOUNCED FOR 2018

29 October 2017

The Board at Swinton Lions would like to extend its sincere gratitude to all our new and retained sponsors, who have enabled us to finalise our 2018 playing kit in double-quick time.

As we embark on this exciting and sustainable new era, we wish to acknowledge the tremendous support of our sponsors and commercial partners ahead of the kit launch and reveal scheduled for Monday 30th October 2017.

Taking pride of place as the main shirt sponsor will be Premier Flooring Solutions Ltd. It’s fantastic to have a Swinton-based company on the front of our iconic kit, and we would like to thank Lions’ fan Shaun Davies and his co-director Lee Wilkinson for enabling the deal to happen.

Also on the front of the shirt in the right-breast location will be Northern Exposure PR. Again it’s fantastic to have a Swinton-connection, as it was Richard Kerns who has taken up this prestigious logo position. Richard’s family do of course have a long and proud association with the Lions and it’s wonderful to see that continue in such a visible way.

As in 2017, the collar positions will be taken up by SR Waite Group. Leading providers of Electrical services, building services and facilities management, SR Waite are of course headed up by Lions’ chairman Andy Mazey.

On the rear of the shirt above the name and number of the player, we will see the logo of Principal Energy Solutions. This of course is new Swinton-director Peter Smith’s company, and the leading UK specialists in energy procurement. Peter has been a generous sponsor of the club over the past couple of years, and it’s good to now have him on board in an official capacity.

Lower down the shirt you will find the BeeManc logo. The Manchester “Bee” has taken on huge symbolic significance following recent horrific events, and we are grateful to BeeManc in enabling us to make this visual contribution to Manchester’s solidarity. BeeManc is an online retail sales company which celebrates and promotes all things “Manchester”.

Another recently appointed Swinton director is Richard Heyes, and his company Tecmark take up one of the arm positions with their logo. Tecmark will help bring considerable digital expertise to the club.

It’s thanks to another Swinton-fan that we have another arm logo sponsor in the shape of Morson International. Morson is a world leader in bespoke recruitment solutions in the field of technical engineering, and one of its directors is our own Neil Dunthorne.

Another arm logo sponsor is North West Access and Sales. They have branches in Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington, providing a range of low level access equipment to the mechanical, electrical, construction and engineering sectors.

Taking the shorts logo position is Joules Estate Agents, who are based in Stockport. Joules have been selling and letting properties all over South Manchester and indeed the north west for over 50 years, and are run by Swinton supporters Clive and Catherine Tattersall.

Finally, and continuing on from last year, the Lions’ socks will be sponsored by Sobriety, the soft drinks brainchild of Lions’ fan Glenn Roberts.

We have worked tremendously hard with all our generous sponsors to reach the position where we can launch our 2018 playing kit far earlier than previous years. This represents a fantastic achievement by all concerned, and these endeavours now provide an opportunity for our fans to order their replicas in time for Christmas. Details of the ordering window will be revealed alongside the kits themselves on Monday 30th October.

Thank you to all our sponsors for your generous support. We hope you will all have lots of excitement following Swinton Lions through 2018!
