The kick-off time for the Lions’ Championship home clash at Heywood Road against Featherstone Rovers on July 15th has been moved for an earlier start.

Heywood Road is set to show the Football World Cup final following Swinton’s clash against in-form Featherstone Rovers in the Betfred Championship.

To avoid clashing with the final which takes place at 16:00, Featherstone Rovers have agreed to an early kick off at 13:30 on July 15th.

The final will be shown at Heywood Road following full-time, and Swinton would like to invite all fans to stay and watch the last fixture of the World Cup, which hopefully will feature England!

Refreshments will be available, and we would like to especially invite Featherstone fans to enjoy the facilities after the full-time whistle following the Championship clash.

John Duffy’s side are currently battling for a top four position, whilst Swinton are working their way up the table in what will be one of the biggest fixtures of the weekend.

The Lions will travel to Spotland Stadium this Sunday to face Rochdale in one of the biggest fixtures of Swinton’s season. Tickets can be bought on the gate.
