Ahead of our trip to Midlands Hurricanes this coming Saturday (kick-off 1pm at Avery Fields, Birmingham B17 8DT), we can announce the loan signings of Mike Porter and Kalum Rathbone from Wigan Warriors.
Mike is a 21 years old powerful forward who can play long minutes. Meanwhile 20 years old Kalum, who can play 9 or 13, made his Super League debut for the Warriors against Hull KR in the week ahead of the recent Challenge Cup Final. He progressed from Leigh Miners Rangers into the Wigan academy system and has also appeared for London Broncos whilst on DR.
Both Mike and Kalum will be eager to impress at the Lions and we look forward to seeing them in Swinton colours
