Another familiar face is back on board for 2027 as we’re delighted to confirm that Aaron Willis has re-signed with the Lions!

The 22-year-old adds further quality and experience to Anthony Murray’s squad as preparations continue for the new campaign.

With plenty still to come from Aaron, both player and coach are looking forward to what the 2027 season has in store.

𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱:

“I’m delighted to be re-signing with Swinton for the 2027 season. The squad we’re building for next year is an exciting one, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together as a group.

There’s plenty of knowledge and experience within the coaching staff, I’m excited to continue learning and developing my game under Muzz.

Last season was a challenging one but I’m looking forward to giving the fans plenty to be proud of and something to celebrate in 2027.”

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱:

“I’m really pleased that Aaron has decided to stay with us at Swinton for another season. At just 22 years of age, Aaron has already played more than 72 games across League One and the Championship with a number of clubs, so he brings valuable experience despite still being a young player.

If Aaron can stay injury free, I have no doubt he’ll be a huge asset to our squad once again. He’s someone whose work ethic and professionalism are invaluable to our team, and he sets a great example every day with the way he applies himself.

We’re looking forward to seeing him build on what he’s already achieved and make a big impact for us this season.”
