Ahead of Sunday’s trip to Halifax Panthers, Leo Wadsworth, a young middle from Wigan Warriors, joins us on a short term loan deal.
The promising 20 year old has previously been on loan at Championship rivals Salford earlier this season, and will go straight into the Swinton 21-man squad for Sunday’s game at The Shay (kick-off 3pm).
In other team news, we will be without one of our other Wigan loanee Kalum Rathbone; but Mike Porter remains available.
In an injury related update, we are pleased to report that Reece Briers and Fin Irwin are likely to return to the squad, but on the flip side Dante Morley-Samuels, Deane Meadows, Jack Stevens and Fin Beardsworth remain on the sidelines – the latter named two being long-term casualties.
Ben Killan will not travel to Halifax due to concussion protocol, whilst Jamie Reddecliff is also nursing an injury from the win at Keighley and could be a doubt
The 21 man squad named is
Pat Ah Van, Ellis Anderson, Reece Briers, Jordan Brown, Josh Eaves, Jordy Gibson, Harry Higham, Fin Irwin, Adam Jones, Trent Kelly-Duffy, Sami Kibula, Aaron Lynch, Charlie McCurrie, Mike Porter, Tom Ratchford, Jamie Reddecliff, Louie Roberts, Gav Rodden, Bobby Shingler, Leo Wadsworth, Aaron Willis
