Swinton Lionesses  continued their winning ways with another emphatic victory. This win at Hull moved them to the top of the table.

Hull were first to score with Kayleigh Waller crashing over to score after 13 minutes. She converted her own try to make it 6-0. The Lionesses hit back two minutes later when Sammi Simpson broke away to score under the posts. Michelle Davis converted to level it up at 6-6. Cailey Miller got the Lionesses second try in the corner after 20 minutes. This time the conversion was missed.

Hull went back on the attack but, Sammi Simpson intercepted to race 90 metres to score for the Lionesses in the 23rd minute. At this point the game was halted. A serious injury to Hulls Charlotte Sutton meant that she was taken to hospital by ambulance. On the restart, Michelle Davis converted to extend the Lionesses lead to 16-6. Cailey Miller got her second try of the game in the 26th minute. The conversion was missed and the Lionesses led 20-6 at half time.

Swinton went on the attack at the start of the second. Sammi  Simpson completed her hat-trick when the ball was moved out wide for her to score. Michelle Davis added the extras to give the Lionesses a 26-6 lead. Emma Dwyer scored next in the 60th minute. Michelle Davis converted to make it 32-6.

Hull got their second try in the 67th minute Natalie Romano crashed over to score. Kayleigh Waller converted. The Lionesses scored the final points of the game. Cailey Miller completed her hat-trick in the 75th minute. Michelle Davis added the extras.

Sammi Simpson was named Player of the match.
