After starting the 2018 season at half-back, Jack soon emerged as an outstanding prospect at full-back following a positional switch. So much so that his performances earned him the Lions’ 2018 Young Player of the Year award. Jack, the son of former Swinton favourite Lee Hansen, first broke through the ranks at the Leigh East community club. He then joined the Leigh Centurions set up as an 18 year old, from where he gained experience with North Wales Crusaders whilst on loan. He joined Swinton at a difficult time in late 2017, before asserting himself in the Swinton starting line-up from the start of the 2018 campaign.
