Now, the side prepare for the visit of the Raiders, who are looking to climb their way form the relegation zone.
“The game at the weekend is another cup final,” said Lloyd.
“We need to play to our strengths and prevent Barrow from using their strengths. They are a good team and we will have to be switched on. I believe if we win this game we will be safe.
“It’s in our hands.”
The Lions have gained five points out of a possible six in their last three Championship fixtures, including victories over Rochdale Hornets and Batley Bulldogs.
The side currently sit 9th in the table, in which Lloyd said: “It’s been a rollercoaster ride so far this year.
“It always is playing in the Championship with the lowest budget. However, we have got a good team spirit and we are are taking each week as it comes.”
In the same week Bennion praised the togetherness of his team-mates on and off the field, Lloyd also admits that the team are relishing their rugby in the competition.
“We are definitely enjoying our rugby this year,” he said.
“There are areas we have to improve on as always, and Stuart’s ethos is not only about results but improving individuals each week, and I believe he is doing that.”
Tickets are available at the gate tomorrow at Heywood Road, with the fun beginning from midday.
