05 December 2018

The club is delighted to announce the Independent Swinton Lions Supporters’ and Community Trust will be a 2019 shirt sponsor.

Swinton Lions are delighted to confirm that the Independent Swinton Lions Supporters’ and Community Trust will be a proud shirt sponsor for the 2019 season.

Stephen Parker, the newly appointed Chair of the Trust is absolutely delighted that the support that the Trust provide to the club is again being promoted and recognised this year.

“By supporting the Club into 2019 and with the presence of the logo on the kit, it confirms that the Trust is and has been since its inception an integral part of the Swinton Lions family.  We have over recent months provided along with many others financial and volunteer support to the club and the sight of the logo will remind all our members that this support is continuing into the future.  I cannot wait to develop further the relationship between us and the club and other partners to make this once great club great again.”

Swinton Lions Chairman Andy Mazey said. “On behalf of the board I’d like to express our gratitude to everyone at the Supporters Trust for the continued investment and vital support of the club.

“It’s really pleasing to have the Trust proudly displayed on our 2019 playing kit and it hopefully goes some way to symbolising the respect and appreciation of myself and the board for this fantastic supporters organisation.

“Under the leadership of newly elected Chairman Stephen Parker and a dedicated management team, the Trust is upwardly mobile and is a vital cog in the big wheel that is Swinton Lions. It’s great to have the backing of Trust as we continue to take the club forward and work collaboratively towards a bright and sustainable future”.
