LIONS TO FACE HALIFAX IN VIRTUAL MATCH

25 March 2020

Swinton Lions face Halifax in a second virtual match for the Lions.

Swinton Lions continue their series of virtual matches against Halifax on Sunday 29 March 2020, kick-off 3pm.

Stuart Littler’s men would have faced Fax at the Shay Stadium this weekend in the Betfred Championship, so it only feels right to face them in a virtual fixture!

Following the current suspension to the real rugby league season due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the club has tried to keep the tradition of rugby league on a Sunday with a set of matches played on the computer game Rugby League Live 4.

Swinton left it late to beat Oldham Roughyeds 36-34 in their first-ever virtual rugby league match last Sunday. You can rewatch the game again here. Just click on the past streams option to catch-up.

Lions supporters can watch Sunday’s match against Halifax via the video game streaming platform Mixer. Links will be posted on our social channels for you to tune into the match ahead of the clash.

Follow the club on TwitterFacebookInstagram and YouTube for regular news and official updates from the club.
