Forward Samy Kibula has extended his loan period with the Lions.

Wigan Warriors forward Samy Kibula has extended his loan period with Swinton Lions for a further month.

The club are delighted to announce that Kibula has extended his loan deal with the Lions after an impressive first month.

The Wigan youngster has played big minutes since joining the side and has featured in two wins for the club during June against Toulouse and Rochdale.

The extension of the powerful forward has been assisted by Pride Builder, who have helped the club throughout the season with exciting players such as Kibula.

“I’ve enjoyed playing for Swinton,” said Kibula.

“The lads and the staff have been great so I am happy to be here for another month.

“It’s another big month ahead and it starts with Batley on Sunday at Heywood Road.”

On the extension, chairman Andy Mazey added: “We are delighted Samy will be staying with us for a further month and thanks must go to our Pride Builder fund who will be funding this deal in full.”

The Lions take on Batley Bulldogs in the Betfred Championship this Sunday at Heywood Road, with tickets available at the gates.
