JORDAN BROWN RETURNS TO LIONS

26 June 2024

Lions re-sign former forward

We are pleased to announce the re-signing of forward Jordan Brown, who spent two seasons with us in 2021 and 2022, before subsequently spending the last two years with the Salford Red Devils reserve team.

The 23 year old, who is based in Warrington, made 13 appearances with us during that initial stint, and scored a first Swinton try during our big League 1 win at West Wales Raiders in our promotion season.

Head Coach, Alan Kilshaw, explained the reasons for offering Jordan another opportunity. He said, “Jordan is a player well known to us from his previous stint, but he was only a young lad at that time and we feel he still has a lot of potential. He’s been in a Super League environment for the past two years and most recently has been the captain of Salford reserves. He has gathered experience under three good coaches and now re-joins us with a lot more under his belt. Jordan is a big size and has good skill-set for a middle, so we’ve brought him in for the remainder of the season, with the possibility of extending his contract beyond 2024.”
