Jack Hansen has signed a new one-year contract with the Swinton Lions.
The Club are delighted to announce that talented youngster Jack Hansen has signed a new one-year deal with the Lions.
Jack Hansen has signed to a new one-year deal that will see him with the club for the 2020 season.
The utility back, who has enjoyed time at both fullback and in the halves partnering Rob Fairclough in 2019, also won the Swinton Lions 2018 Young Player of the Year award.
“I’m really happy to have extended my stay at Swinton,” said Hansen.
“I’m loving my rugby here and playing with some of my best mates. We’ve got a really good set of lads and it’s probably the closest group I’ve been involved with. The coaching staff have been great with me and I feel my game has improved massively since I’ve joined and hopefully they can get me to the next level.
“I feel we can build something really special here with our group, Andy and the rest board so I’m really excited to be a part of it for at least another season.”
Head Coach Stuart Littler added: “Another piece of outstanding news with Jack Hansen’s contract renewal. Jack is a player who has been with us since I got the head coaches role and he has developed every year as we knew he would.
“The best is still to come from Jack, which is really exciting as he is already one of the hottest prospects in a strong Championship competition.
“I have known Jack a long time and we have a mutual trust as he knows I want the best for him and i know he always wants to deliver the goods for us.
“Jack is from a proud family and together with his partner Sophie, they have become a big part of our Lions family and they have really bought into everything we want to be about.”
