LITTLER NAMES HOPE IN FIRST IRELAND SQUAD

Swinton Lions Head Coach Stuart Littler names loose forward Will Hope in his first Ireland squad.

The former Ireland international was named head coach on September 13

Swinton Lions Head Coach Stuart Littler has named his first 35-man train-on squad as Ireland Coach, including Lions’ Will Hope.

The former centre was named as the new Ireland international coach in September, having previously made 19 appearances for the Wolfhounds.

Littler replaces Mark Aston, who led the side to two World Cups in 2013 and 2017.

Lions front-rower Will Hope has been named in the squad, captained by Newcastle Thunder’s latest recruitment Liam Finn.

Player’s player of the year Rhodri Lloyd was also recently named in Wales’ squad and Josh Barlow has been selected in Scotland’s 35-man train-on squad for the upcoming European Championship and Rugby League World Cup qualifiers campaign.
